A person's human life may be defined by branches that cling to the trunk of a trees, but whose branches spread far and wide. The question becomes not how far and wide they spread, but do they point upward--upward to higher levels of thought? Are the branches center-focused? Do they adhere to One Mind, One God?

The video below was designed to generate self-analysis and self-elevation. It speaks of thoughts defining the true nature of man--man created by God. According to Moses, that man is "made in the image and likeness of God." His consciousness is divine; words inspirational and actions pure. Are you that man?

Define Your Branches

Written by Dr. Mamie Smith

Stand before a looking glass,

Ask yourself what you see,

Do you accept, do you pass?

Are you what you’d like to be?

Analyze the measuring stick

You hold firmly in your hand,

Is it a tool love would pick,

Or one a peaceful mind would ban?

Now’s the time to make a choice

Of the good and the bad.

Will you shun the evil voice

Shouting words to make you mad?

Do you smile when words berate

Other people unlike you?

Agree with messages of hate

Of the old and the new?

Closed lips when lies are spread

On policies you disagree,

Consequences you don’t dread

Results are what you want to see.

Cries of “Murder, hang and kill,”

You pretend not to hear

Swallowing such a small pill

Is worth the “prize” you hold dear.

Nothing triumphs loss of power

In this one… defining hour.

Meta Rose hopes the message of Dr. Mamie Smith gives 'food for thought." Each day is an opportunity to move your "branches" higher and higher until they reach compassion, empathy, forgiveness, joy and dominion over the physical senses and gain the ever-lasting light of the spiritual senses.
